Amazon, B&H, and Adorama are all discounting the Samsung 2TB T7 Shield Portable SSD (Black) to only $99.99, a $85 discount from the regular price of $185. This portable drive has a rubber protected exterior and an IP65 rating, and supports read and write speeds of up to 1,050 MB/s and 1,000 MB/s respectively. It has a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port.

    Interesting. This is now 3 different brands discounting their SSD drives (SanDisk being the 3rd). I have to wonder if both Crucial and Samsung are doing this in response to the problems with SanDisk SSDs to make them affordable alternatives, or if these are being clearanced the same way that SanDisk is doing because they may suffer from the same problems. With SanDisk failing to address their issues in a timely manner, I’m hoping this is a case of the former. But this question is also being raised on various photography podcasts.
