Happy New Year! We’ve resolved an issue where CPW email alerts were disabled and not delivered to a large number of Gmail accounts. This started happening on December 14th, after a Google infrastructure issue with several Google services, including Gmail. We apologize for the inconvenience. (Thanks to reader Brandon for letting us know about this.)
This is a good time to remind everyone about our alerts system, which can deliver emails or push notification alerts about new main page posts. We also have a ‘watchlist’ feature to only receive alerts on posts about items you have on your watchlist. You can manage your alert settings and watchlist here.
