I thought they weren’t shipping until sometime around the 12th? I pre-ordered with Adorama weeks ago and haven’t heard anything yet.
The RF 50mm STM is shipping today/tomorrow and the RF 70-200 f4 is shipping next week.
Adorama hasn’t even received their shipment yet unfortunately. Such a bummer! I was looking forward to trying this little lens out.
Ordered, got email saying I ordered with order number, Paypal says transaction authorized (Dec 3) but when checking with Canon, no order exists………Down the rabbit hole again
Remarkable…..after being told no order exists, the lens arrived. I exclusively shoot Canon. I really appreciate CPW (Thanks, Gordon), but for such an advanced company with evolving technology, their own “store” has its issues.
I ordered within minutes of this stock notice being posted here. Order status has been sitting at “inventory fulfilled” almost immediately as well. Two weeks later, I get a survey asking me to review my new lens. Of course, they still haven’t shipped it. Third time getting burned by Canon Direct this year. Never ever ordering from them again, their kit is amazing, their store is the worst shopping experience possible. Glad you got your lens JP.
