All gone, You guys are quick
I am suspecting that there is something wrong with how Canon direct display the inventory of their refurbished items. I ordered a refurbished RF 35mm in the 20%-off promotion back in September, and the order status is still “order received and ready for processing”. I called Canon direct customer service and they said that it’s backordered. I mentioned to them that it’s showing in-stock on the website right now…Their answer was that even if you order now, the order won’t go through and they have no ETA on when refurbished items will be restocked…
I was also on the same boat as yours, ordered with 20% off and status was backordered.
I called customer care on Monday, they said my order was in blocked status, not sure what that means.
However, eventually they got my order through and received credit card charge notification and also the order on my way, should get it by tomorrow as per FedEx.
Just curious: did they change the status during the call? Or it just happened magically some time after the call? Thx!
They did it during the call. I was put on hold while they werr talking with inventory department.
I’m totally striking out with this backorder nonsense. 2nd attempt at the 28-70…in stock when I ordered, but then changed to backordered.
Since last Friday, I’ve watched it go out of stock, then in stock almost hourly, yet my order is still backordered! Definitely think there’s a glitch in the Matrix.
