Skylum Luminar AI — Only 5,000 Spots Left for Early Bird Preorder

Skylum Software recently announced LuminarAI, the next evolution of their image-editing software. This “first image editor fully powered by artificial intelligence” includes a set of tools for automatic portrait, landscape, and composition enhancement. Their early-bird offer is ending soon. They are offering special early-bird pricing for the first 30,000 preorders of LuminarAI, and we’re told only 5,000 spots are left:

On their LuminarAI launch page, you can see some very compelling examples of the capability of their software, and they claim “you don’t perform manual selections, masking, layering and other tedious tasks of traditional photo editors”. The software will be released in the 2020 holiday season.

The price goes up to $74 after the special early-bird pricing, so don’t miss out on this opportunity! As usual, a 30-day money back guarantee applies (from the product release date).

If you purchase something through a link on our site, we may get a small share of the sale (at no cost to you). Please read our disclosure for more info.

Price increase from $69 to $74 – honestly, doesn’t doesn’t seem so “special” to me when your average coffee price difference will eat up the money you saved

Also, know they moved to an annual subscription model.

Sorry, that is not true — their software is pay-once and own that version (with minor updates) forever.

They do have a new “Luminar X” subscription for monthly delivery of creative assets (like sky textures) but this is completely optional.

Minor update only last few years, they’re dropping Luminar 4 update in 1-2 years

Correct. You get about 2 years of minor updates. It’s like the good old days of LR, I think I used LR4 for 5 years before upgrading…

I only see $79 discount price / $99 regular price. Do you have a link to the $69 price?

Make sure you’re choosing either 1-seat or 2-seat, depending on how many computers you plan on installing this on. 1-seat is $69, 2-seat is $79.
