Super Hot: EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM for $539.19 via Woot!

UPDATE: Sold out in 28 minutes.

Woot! (owned by Amazon) has the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM for only $539.19. This is the “Mark I” old version of the lens. This is a “Prime Exclusive” deal that is only available to Amazon Prime members. Compare with a regular price of $1099.

Woot!‘s site doesn’t indicate that it’s open box or refurbished, so you can assume that it is brand new.

A limited quantity is available — this will likely sell out. Their site indicates that the item comes with a Woot 90-day warranty (we think this may to be avoid MAP restrictions). It is however still a great deal, a better price than what is usually available through the used or grey market.

So many brand new ones on eBay for even cheaper. Not that great of a deal.

This one is brand new. (Woot would mark it as a “refurbished” if it was refurbished.)

I don’t see brand new prices for this lens on eBay for less than $789. Make sure you’re not accidentally looking at the non-IS version of this lens.

I stand corrected. I was looking at the non IS version. Turns out this was a great deal.

Also, given that this is now sold out within 30 minutes of our post, I think the Internet disagrees with you 🙂

Why you always lying? lol. No new ones anywhere near this price on eBay.

It was an honest mistake. I didn’t know there were two versions. IS vs Non IS. I was looking at the latter.
