I just had a chat with them and I was told the 15% is only if you use the Amazon Visa card
If I would receive my card in time I would apply in a heartbeat. Been wanting a 5D for years.
If approved, Amazon will let you use your new card immediately. There is also a $100 gift card for opening a new account (at least with their Visa card), making this deal even hotter for those willing to get a new credit card.

Does anyone know if the does works with the EOS R /w adapter option?
I tried to chat with Amazon, but they didn’t seem to know much about this deal. Finally they told me that if it shows up on the 15% bonus page, with the “get 15% back total” text below, it is eligible. Of course, the mount adapter configuration is not on that page. Perhaps someone else will have more luck communicating with Amazon. Seems like it should apply, given it is the same price as the base.
Mine shows no cash-back for the EOS R (using an Amazon Prime Visa card), and you have to pay tax.
Eos r with adapter does seem to qualify. Total discount is 15%. Canon 10% discount also available on other items. On payment section during checkout says 1 item qualifies.
I’m holding out CPW. What do you got up your sleeve for a deal? 😀

I think that is just a generic description from another dealer and an error. It’s listed as sold by Amazon (not a 3rd party) and brand new.
