Canon started a new rebate tonight (Sunday, November 24th) and most rebates have been extended at their present value. This is expected, as most items were already heavily discounted in the October 24th rebate.
A few items have seen an additional small discount (either $50 or $100). Notably, some new release cameras and the 70-200mm III are amongst the newly discounted items:
- EOS 90D: street price of $1059, or $1149.00 at B&H, Adorama
- EOS 90D with 18-55mm Lens: street price of $1199, or $1199.00 at B&H, Adorama
- EOS 90D with 18-135mm Lens: street price of $1399, or $1449.00 at B&H, Adorama
- EOS M6 Mark II + 15-45mm + EVF-DC2: street price of $949, or $999.00 at B&H, Adorama
- EOS M6 Mark II + 18-150mm + EVF-DC2: street price of $1179, or $1249.00 at B&H, Adorama
- EOS M50 with 15-45mm Lens (Black): street price of $579, or $599.00 at B&H, Adorama
- EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM: street price of $1739, or $1799.00 at B&H, Adorama, Amazon
Wow. Disappointed with this year’s deals. Hopefully more to come!
Sadly, no other rebate changes are planned. So this is it. Now we see if anyone offers up a crazy bundle deal.
The more I think about it, the happier I am. Not tempted to spend on something I don’t really need. Hopefully the Sigma 85 1.4 will have a great price drop soon.
MAP Pricing rules are just legalized price fixing. The key is to find someone willing to make a deal – usually on a package (more than one item) – which is ok because it’s not “Advertised” (hence, the “A” in MAP)
