B&H has an incredible deal on the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan with 20GB Cloud Storage (net $95 after a $25 gift card).
- Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan with 20GB Cloud Storage (12 Month) for $94.88 after $25 gift card at B&H
You can use the code to extend an existing subscription. You can also purchase multiple years at once to lock in this price for several years.
Why are they charging sales tax on a gift card purchase?
This is likely structured as a $119 Adobe CC subscription with a free $25 gift card. My assumption is the sales tax applies to the full $119? I am not a tax expert, so this is just my thinking.
I’m just a bit confused on why Adobe and Amazon does not collect sales tax on Creative Cloud pre-paid but Best Buy and BH does.
No idea. 🙁
Figured it out — it’s a download card, which is physically shipped, therefore sales tax applies.
For Texas no sales tax is applied
Right now, my CC account is to renew automatically via my stored credit card on 11/3/2019. If I purchase this plan, do I get the redemption code to renew the current membership? I want to be sure my credit card doesn’t get used and can use this purchased plan instead. I just wanted to know if we get the plan in the form of redemption code or something else (i.e. cancel current membership and start a new membership..). Thanks.
Yes, the redemption code will extend your renewal date by one year.
I just purchased it. Do I get the redemption code via email or physical card? Also, when may I expect the gift card?
It’s a download card, so it needs to be shipped physically. I think the gift card is a e-Gift card, so it’ll be delivered by e-mail.
I clicked through link to buy this deal and can’t see any reference to a $25.00 gift card.
Looks like this deal is gone now.
