After much neurotic deliberation I took the plunge as well. It’s probably the best price it will be for a while. Though I’ve concluded that it’s not going to be as sharp as other offerings like the sigma it will have consistent autofocus, weather sealing and IS. For the wild and low light environments I tend to shoot in this makes WAY more sense than a heavy piece of glass like the Art. I am just curious at how long it takes for this company to restock their supply?
