That is almost T6 price for a camera that is comparable to the T7i in performance. This is the camera I suggest more than any other as a first DSLR. It has a pretty impressive set of features for it’s regular price, at this price it’s a steal. I feel like it’s only real drawback is the 9pt AF system. I feel like they could have used the 19pt system from the T6s or 70D since they are obviously going with the 45pt system in the other models (meaning it would be competing in sales with current models). For video it the same as the T7i and 77D, but for a lower price. It is simple enough to learn with, but still relevant once the basics are mastered. It’s just so much better than the T6 and T7 and usually isn’t a lot more than either. Here it is almost the same price.

Also, there is a limit of 10 per customer on the site, LOL!

The appeal of the SL series is size and weight. This is essentially the best travel DSLR on the market.

I cant believe I forgot to mention the smaller and lighter body, good call. That, combined with the features, iq, video specs, lenses, and price to value ratio make the SL2 hard to beat. Add in the 10-18mm, 24mm f2.8, 50mm f1.8, and 55-20mm IS STM and you have a pretty complete system to learn photography on, without spending a lot more money (depending, it could be done for less than 1200 usd). Unless someone just did not want Canon, I typically suggest the SL2 for begginer togs, even at the usual price.
