We’re running a special on the EOS 5D Mark IV. For a limited time, select street price dealers are offering additional savings on the EOS 5D Mark IV when you trade-in a working SLR or mirrorless camera — the street price for the camera is discounted to $2599 with this special trade-in deal.
This is a excellent deal for a brand new camera from an authorized dealer with a 1-year Canon USA warranty, and free shipping — the lowest authorized dealer price seen yet. Please inquire for the full details and eligibility for this deal.
What camera can I trade-in?
Any working SLR or mirrorless body can be traded in. Please inquire for details. Due to the nature of the trade-in, we recommend older bodies.
I would have to imagine that places are going to want to move these out. The EOS R is basically a 5DmkIV in a mirrorless body, but for quite a bit less money and with a flip out screen. I would bet that the 5D is still more rugged though, and would still be a better choice for harsh environment shooting, and is also still a solid camera. For video though, the EOS R will be a much better option coming with clog installed and with a better codec, not to mention the flip out touch screen.
I’ve seen brand new 5D IV on eBay brand new for around $2300 with no trade-in required since the announcement of the EOS R. I can imagine people are unloading their 5DIV to upgrade to the EOS R. The 6D II’s are going for around $1200 brand new on eBay too.
Fujifilm just released the XT-3 with way better 4K specs than the EOS R yesterday…both 5DIV and 6DII are taking the heat left and right….
The ones you see on ebay are likely grey market. Warranty not guaranteed, but from what I hear Canon usually still honors it for bodies.
I wonder if they would take my Canon Rebel T2i lol. Anyway, I don’t think I would trade it in as it has too much sentimental value to me. It is the DSLR that started it all for me. Plus I am already very happy with my Canon 5D Mark 3 lol
Its funny you say this about your sentimental attachment to the T2i. I have a Shadow Box with the HP 315 in it on my wall, along with some Tiffin screw on lenses. This was my first digital camera, and when I found it in it’s bag stuffed at the back of a closet I couldn’t bring myself to jsut toss it out. So I made it into a display piece! LOL
Yes, they’ll accept your Rebel T2i … if you’ll part with it
What is the best way to proceed if interested. Can I follow up next week?
