Amazon Prime Day Starts July 16th, 3 PM ET, Here’s What to Expect

This year’s Amazon “Prime Day” will start in 24 hours from now! The deals start at 3 PM ET on Monday July 16th and run until 3 AM ET on Wednesday July 18th. Amazon’s Prime Day will have many exciting deals, many restricted to Amazon Prime members only. Just like the previous three years, CanonPriceWatch will be watching all the deals.

Don’t expect deals on Canon cameras or lenses on Prime Day. Canon items are restricted by a MAP year-round and Prime Day is no exception. You can browse last year’s live-updating post or the same from 2016 for examples of what was available. We expect to see great prices on memory cards, filters, bags, Rokinon lenses, color calibration, studio equipment, and perhaps a Sigma lens or two. Deals sell out quickly, so be prepared to jump on them (or waitlist.) It is also a perfect time to pick up Amazon devices (such as Echo, Echo Dot, Fire TV, Fire Tablet, Kindle and assorted subscriptions.)

As many deals are restricted to Amazon Prime members only, now would be a good time to sign-up for a free 30-day trial of Prime if you haven’t yet already. Be sure to check back on Monday 3 PM for the deals!
