Some really tempting offerings here. The f1.8 DC zooms (18-35 and 50-100) are pretty highly praised. I’m always skeptical of AF performance on Sigma, and that continues to be the biggest criticism of those lenses. But you won’t find a higher transmission zoom for APS-C cameras. If you are looking for better low light shooting these might be the answer on crop cameras. Canon and Nikon both should try to make their own versions of these lenses. But they wont, since they are still try to live in a time when they were the only two competitors. Now with Sony mirrorless and Fujis high performance crops, there are more and more options. Crop lenses that can do similar things to FF would be a boon imho in this ever changing market. Or maybe it’s just what I want LOL!
The 135mm f1.8 looks pretty tasty too, but same concerns. I’m guessing these do not include the usb dock ?
I shoot portraits and pretty much all outdoors with the 135 1.8 and the focus is spot on, right there with the canon version.
I couldn’t recommend that lens enough. Haven’t taken it off of my camera since I first put it on. The images it produces have a magical essence to them.
Unfortunately the dock is separate.
