The PIXMA PRO-100 printer rebate was renewed with a new rebate period from January 1st to January 31st, 2018. Many readers wanted to do a second mail-in rebate deal in November/December. This is your chance! You can do this printer rebate even if you already did one in 2017.

Authorized Canon Dealer BuyDig has the Canon PIXMA PRO-100 plus free paper for $79.00, after a $250 Canon mail-in rebate.

You can also combining this with our street prices to make amazing printer bundles, after the $350 Canon USA mail-in rebate. These deals will expire within the next few days!

Canon rebate rules specify that the printer and camera can be purchased at two different dealers, if purchased on the same day. You would purchase the printer from BuyDig and the camera via street price.

They like to basically give these things away and then make their money back on ink

Is the printer worth buying? As in Print quality, etc

John, yes the Pro 100 produces very good photo prints. Since it uses dye inks, it may not provide the greatest archival longevity, you’d have to move to up the Pro 10, Pro 1 or Pro 1000 to enhance that. But otherwise, it gives up very little in terms of print results.

I’ve gotten really good quality, but it does take some tweaking to get cold and brightness dead on, at least without any kind of screen and printer calibration device

Yep, almost literally, printer is $30.00 once it’s all said and done. Just looked up the going rate for the Semi Gloss 13 x 19 that’s thrown in, and it’s $49.99. That offsets most of the $79.99 after-rebate pricing for the deal.

Has anyone received their rebate on this yet? I just got a status of ‘Program Violation’ when I checked online. I also did the prior rebate in December and was approved, so I’m pretty sure I didn’t mess anything up.

Ignore my comment – somehow I accidentally selected the previous submission period when I did my pre-submission. 🙁
