Flashpoint Speedlight Deal (Adorama) and Studio Lighting Sale (B&H)

Some great deals on lighting this week from Adorama and B&H.

Adorama has deals on two popular Flashpoint zoom on-camera flashes. Flashpoint has become a very popular Adorama-exclusive brand — highly touted for their value and affordability. Today only they have both manual and Canon TTL on-camera flashes (featuring an internal lithium-ion battery) on sale, discounted 18% and 25% from regular price.

B&H Photo Video is featuring a Studio Lighting Sale with savings of up to $1000 on popular studio lighting equipment, with brands like FotodioX, Dracast, Genaray, ikan, Elinchrom, and Impact. They have studio lights on sale, in addition to background, backdrops, supports, and modifiers. This sale runs until November 14th. Check out their deals.

The Flashpoint flashes are marketed at other stores under the “Godox” or “Neewer” brands. Great value.

Hi I have a Godox transmitter. Can it trigger the Speedlight V860II? Thank you.

I have been wanting to get some off camera flash action going on, so now I am looking at this flash. Am I reading right that this flash has a built in wireless reciever? Does it work only with specific triggers? I think I might grab 2, if I can get the deal before it’s done.

Nevermind, the 14th is the studio lighting. The flash was yesterday only. Looks like we are both up a creek with no paddle

Just called them right after i got home from work. They were willing to honor the sale price. Jim Gormley, if you still want this flash give them a call and see if they will honor it.

Funny thing is I got an email from Amazon with the $134 offer but the link still showed $179. So I called customer service & they said the only email they sent me was for an order confirmation on some fitted sheets I ordered. I really should get the 200ws Evolve. Just seemed like a nice deal for a kicker. From what I’m seeing, many get the Evolve and wind up using it more than the Flashpoint 600. You know what I mean, get it as a kicker, but use it as a mainlight.
