For Canon MIRs, can the billing name and shipping name be different but have the same address? For example, if my wife ordered a DSLR + lens + printer bundle as a gift to me, the billing and shipping names would be different. Can we still apply for the Canon MIRs? And whose name should be on the MIR? Hoping to hear from folks who may have a similar situation like this. CPW – any comments/suggestions?
This should be fine. It shouldn’t matter whose name is on the MIR. As long as you submit the MIR using the same address (either billing or shipping) it will be okay. You can also call the Canon rebate processor (866-668-9861) and they’re really good at clarifying logistics like this.
