2 please.
Too pricey for average photographer. But, wow. Let’s face it, we find our niche and that’s okay. Good to know what the top groups can afford and use.
Can someone please explain why this is so expensive?
It’s a cine lens, for filmmaking, not photography.
Yes, but why does that make it more expensive?
Too much to explain here, (and I really don’t personally know from experience or anything), but here’s a decent explanation: https://fstoppers.com/originals/what-difference-between-cinema-and-still-lenses-167167
Excellent, thank you. Well explained. Now I know.
Am I the only one that thinks it is funny how an 18K lens has only 1 year of warranty? Geesh…
Well, it IS open box…..
Wow
Tim Stroh lol

If I were promoting this sale, I would have never added the qualifier: ‘But It’s Still Expensive’. Sales 101: Never include words that might dissuade potential buyers.
Thanks for the feedback. Quite frankly, this post wasn’t really to promote this item (I’m pretty sure this lens isn’t on the wish list of the typical CPW user.) Note also the sarcasm on the “low, low, price” of $18K.
Cine lenses are expensive because it takes so long to file off all the clicks on the aperture ring.
