Tamron has announced a very interesting lens: the Tamron 18-400mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC HLD is a all-in-one optically stabilized lens designed for crop sensor bodies, at an introductory price of $649.00. The lens is surprisingly compact for its reach, at less than 5″ length (when in the 18mm position.) It is available for pre-order now and has an expected shipping date of July 21st.

Got me all excited, then I saw the name Canon. We are a Nikon family now.
The lens comes in Nikon mount for the same price. You just are reading this news on canon price watch.

Hmmm curious as an all around lens
I already have the Tamron 16-300. Looks like an upgrade is in the near future. Will pair well on my 7D2.

thôi, kéo từ 18 tới 400 dzị coi như nguyên đống lens e đang xài bỏ xó hết “_._
Luan Tran ý nói tiện đó. Bán hết đống kia mua 1 cái này xai thôi =)))
thôi a, nguyên đống đó hết ít nhất cũng 5k mà đổi cái 600… lấy chất lượng làm đầu đi cho đỡ tiếc nuối :))
With a 22x factor, this lens due to the limitation of physics HAS to be soft on both the long and short end without exceptions. Yet, this lens will appeal to the casual snapshooter who refuses to put the effort in swapping out lenses. For my money, I’d buy a refurbished 135F2 at this price point although I know that lens appeals to a completely different group of photographers.
