It’s always interesting to see what other people are purchasing. Here are the five most popular street price deals for January and February of 2017. Surprised?
- EOS 5D Mark IV for $3199
- Sigma Art 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM for $1049
- EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM II for $1769
- EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM for $1639
- EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM for $1899
All the street price deals come from Canon authorized dealers with a 1-year Canon USA warranty.
Dieter Finke it’s at a steal now!
Careful – import models that don’t carry a USA warranty.
Absolutely incorrect. These items come from Canon and Sigma authorized dealers and carry a manufacturer USA warranty.

What does your link tell us John Gutierrez?
Every purchase I’ve ever made through Canon Price Watch came from an authorized dealer. #NeverGreyMarket
Authorized dealers for Canon and Sigma, including Tamron are under strict rules not to advertise products below MSRP. However, this doesn’t mean that an authorized dealer can’t sell for less privately to customers. Please list the names of authorized dealers who are publishing genuine named products products as a fact check.
John: our street price service connects you to authorized dealers “privately” who are willing to sell for below MAP. Unfortunately, we cannot publish the names of the authorized dealers, as that would cause them to violate Canon Minimum Advertised Price policies.
This should help those wanting to locate and buy from a designated USA Canon authorized re-seller in the USA – http://downloads.canon.com/dealer/canon-ad-10-28.pdf Otherwise, there are lots of choices available for eBay sellers who import products directly. While they can say they are a product dealer and provide in-house warranty and extended warranties through third parties, just be informed of the source of purchase.
No thanks, I’ll keep purchasing from cpw, they do great
Great, the choice remains yours.
Thanks for sharing the authorized dealer list. Our street price dealers are on that list. I’m not sure what point you’re trying to prove here, perhaps you misunderstand how the street price program works? CPW is not the dealer, we simply connect you to listed authorized dealers who are willing to sell below MAP at a stated price.
There’s the “over the counter msrp price” and “street price,” and either can be construed alike. I suppose there are authorized camera dealers that will price match non-authorized manufacturers’ price to get the sale. Regardless, remains defined as the street price found. My point is to validate the dealer’s representation of product, especial when advertised below msrp. Just saying, but anyone is welcomed to choose.
If I fill out your form, will you sell or distribute my email address?
Nope. We only use your email addresses for the purposes of the order.
What will the recipients of the form (the retailers) do with our email addresses?
The retailers will only use the email addresses for the purposes of the orders.
Thanks. I’d hate to have a world of spam just for saving $100 on a lens.
I have purchased two cameras from a CPW authorized seller. Both experiences have been very positive and NEVER had any spam…
Dream camera and everything else is just. ….
Yes, it coming
Sigma 85mm art on back order. Beware
Yes, that lens is out of stock everywhere, but we’re still able to offer a backorder at a $150 discount.
Right. Do you know when it will not be on back order?
I’m told the next shipment of Art 85mm is expected in about 2 weeks, but this is all up to Sigma USA of course…
I brought a 5d4 from CPW couple weeks ago, and a 70-200 IS II and 100mm last year. I can confirm that they are 100% legit, Canon authorized reseller, with US warranty and it’s NOT imported.
The only good deal I see is the Sigma lens
