Amazon has a hot, today-only deal a 12-month Subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan: it’s only $88.99. This is the lowest price we’ve ever seen for a year subscription, and equals less than $7.50 per month.
This is a download edition, and the code can be used to either start a new subscription or extend an existing subscription. Thanks Jonathan!
Does anyone know if the subscription starts immediately, or when you use the code activate it? So, if I didn’t use the activation code until next month (or January) would that start the clock on the 12 months? Thanks.
The subscription starts when you activate it. So you can buy now and start in January, if you like.
Great deal! On the Amazon site you can either directly download the software if you’re a new user, or click on the card option to receive a physical card that holds the key if you’re already a subscriber. When my present one-year sub expires, I’ll simply grab the card and enter the new code and be good to go another year. At this price the subscription model becomes about as cheap as the former system of buying new updates every 2-3 years. Thank you CanonPriceWatch!
A little surprise: Amazon added 9% California sales tax to my order. Probably because the little plastic card is tangible property. I should have ordered the electronic download instead, but I wasn’t sure how to extend my present subscription that way. Still a good deal.
Now if only Capture One would offer a discount code greater than 10% (10% is available all over the place) that would be awesome since my 30 day trial expired today!
Looks like download is no longer available?
So I can buy it now and then use it say next year? I only ask because I have another coupon for CC LR+PS plan for 20% discount. But that is valid only through Nov 30th. So if I buy this 20% plan and then purchase this for 88$ can I use this next year, after my first year expires ?
That makes sense, but examine the terms & conditions of the card before you commit.
You can add both of them at the same time to your account. It just extends the date on your account. Mine goes to 4/2018 currently.
