Canon USA Rebates Unchanged, No Better Rebates Coming

Several of our sources have informed us that the Canon USA instant rebates on bodies and lenses (currently set to expire on Saturday) will be renewed at the same value until January. There will be no increase in rebate on any product.

This suggests strongly that the current street prices, which are already at or near historic lows, will be the best prices of the season. Check out our street prices, and if you’re still skeptical, read the FAQ or read our reviews.

Our street prices are always brand new from Canon authorized dealers with a 1-year Canon USA warranty. Not grey market, not refurbished! Our most popular street prices are below.

If you purchase something through a link on our site, we may get a small share of the sale (at no cost to you). Please read our disclosure for more info.

Why is there a $200(+printer) price difference between the 6d kit from the ebay deal from today and the street price? I want to buy a 6d kit but im torn between how to buy 🙁 Massive first world problems.

The bulk of the discount on the printer kit comes from the $350 mail-in rebate from Canon USA. If you haven’t done the printer yet, the printer is the better deal, as you can sell the printer for about $100 locally.

Any chance the EOS 5D Mark III will go lower than the $2199.00? Or perhaps a rebate on that $2199?

Does the rebate actually work? My experience with rebates has not beed positive even for many brand names…

Hai Hoang: the Canon mail-in rebate has been extremely reliable over the last few years. If you presubmit, you can even track the status of your rebate on their website. That being said, the current lens rebate is an INSTANT rebate where the discount is automatically taken when you purchase your lens.

A little disappointed that Canon couldn’t do a little better during this holiday buying season.
