Hot Adorama 1-Day Deal: EF 24-70 II $1600, EF 70-200 II $1800

UPDATE: I’m told that this was a mistake on Adorama’s website and the prices were incorrect. They have been changed back to normal. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Today only, authorized dealer Adorama has two specials where you can save an additional $200 on a popular lens. They have the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM for $1600.00 and the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM II for $1800.00.

Both come with a free 3-piece ProOptic filter kit, and 2% Adorama rewards. This deal expires today, according to Adorama. Free shipping, and the 13-month Canon USA accidental damage extended warranty are also included.

They also have a similar discount on the Canon EOS 5D Mark III for $2175.00.

I’m seeing $2,499 for 5DIII and $1,799 for EF24-70mm. Added to cart and checkout. Prices stay the same.

The 70-200 link from the Canon Price List for Adorma will display the 1800.00 price.

I’m told this was a price mistake / website error, and has since been fixed on Adorama’s side.

Well that sucks 🙁 I was excited for a second. Question, there’s no sales tax when you buy from Adorama correct? I bought my 85mm from you & Adorama and there was no tax even though I shipped to a state that does collect sales tax.

Adorama only collects sales tax on purchases to NY and NJ.

If Adorama doesn’t collect sales tax on a purchase to your state, you may be still responsible for declaring the purchase and paying the tax to your state at income tax filing time, it depends on the laws of your state.
