Nice though the 64GB SDXC Lexar’s that were posted not that long back are 150MB/s

Yes, that deal was the 128GB Lexar 1000x for $65.

The one I was thinking of was the 2 pack of 64GB SDXC Lexar 1000x / 150MB/s for $62.99 though it’s possible that one had a choice of the 2-64GB cards or 1-128GB card (it could have been 2 separate offers since the one I did was back in June & we’ve had time to use the cards on several vacations).

This is a little bit better price, but those were faster cards though I’m not sure that 94MB/s Vs 150MB/s is an issue for most of us

The 150 mb is reading time, writing is 30mb.

Indeed, though the 30MB/s is the minimum write speed that card is rated at. Of course they advertise the faster read speed merely mentioning that the write speed is lower.

The Sony card has a max write speed of 70MB/s, but I’m not sure what the minimum is nor the sustained rate of either card.

If I was looking to buy some more big cards right now, I’d probably check on the Sony card

Yeah, the various vendors don’t go out of their way to make it easy to compare the performance of competing cards. In this case, Lexar lists the min read speed & Sony lists the max read speed.

What would really be nice is if everyone listed the sustained rates for the cards, esp. the write speeds.

Back in late June, I got the 64GB 2-pack for $62.99 though Amazon changes tax for TX (it now lists for $69.99)

Like this deal, that one was posted on this FB page.
