Sigma 150-600 Sports $1699, Contemporary $899, 50mm Art $799

Our street price on the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports has now been lowered to $1699. This is the lowest price seen yet for this lens. The “Sports” version of this lens features a much more rugged build quality and a slightly better optical formula, vs. the “Contemporary” lens.

We also now have the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary back in-stock for $899 SOLD OUT. There is limited quality at this price, and this will likely sell out.

Finally, our street price on the Sigma Art 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM has returned. It’s $799 for this very popular lens. Compare with $949 at other authorized dealers.

DigitalRev is not an authorized dealer, you will not get a 4-year Sigma USA warranty if you purchase from them. They are a reputable store though and will provide a 1-year store warranty.

Are the Sigma 150-600 S and 50 Art prices specials or are they going to be the standard for awhile?

    1. October 12, 2015 at 9:33 pm EDT

Everything is limited stock, but these aren’t special discounts.

Price on the S should go lower. No one wants them as they are optically no sharper than the C but way heavier. Plus the weather sealing is of no use for practical purposes. These are basically f8 lenses so if using when raining you will need to push the ISO so high to have enough shutter speed that the shots will suck anyway.

Do the canon autofocus still work on these lens? Or everything has to be focus manually?

    1. October 13, 2015 at 10:17 pm EDT

These lenses work with Canon Autofocus.
