We now have a street price on the recently announced Sigma Art 24-35mm f/2 DG HSM for Canon, it is $929 from an authorized Sigma dealer with 4-year Sigma USA warranty.
This lens was very recently announced and is touted by Sigma to be the world’s first f/2 zoom lens for full-frame cameras. Compare with $999 at other authorized dealers. This lens is expected to ship at the end of July.
Wow… I just wish there were a few more reviews out there to address a couple questions I have, and then I will hopefully place an order

I got a chance to take a few sample shots in a local camera store. I was surprisingly impressed. Since I own the 24-70 f/2.8L ii, and the 16-35 f/4L IS, I thought this would be a useless lens as it overlaps my current lenses. The minimum focus distance is insane. The end of the lens hood was about a half an inch away from my subject. The bokeh was nice when taking pics close to the subject. I have to compare the images with that of the 16-35 to see if this lens adds any value by adding it to my camera bag
I forgot to mention what impressed me. Lens is super sharp wide open. Build quality was excellent. It feels better than my Sigma 50 f/1.4 ART. The zoom ring feels excellent, reminiscent of a Hasselblad lens of mine. Focus ring was similar to the 50 Art lens
