In addition to the fantastic deal on the EF 50mm f/1.8 STM ($110) there are other deals on items via eBay using the coupon code “C15FATHERSDAY”, from authorized Canon dealers. All lenses come with free accessories, such as UV filters or cleaning kits.
UPDATE: Now linking to authorized dealer BuyDig, same price, free shipping.

- Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM Pancake for $134.00 (Adorama)
- Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM for $234.00 (Adorama)

I tried to buy the 50/1.8 STM through Adorama, and there was no place in the checkout process for the code, AFAIK. I have spent all morning getting the runaround from Adorama regarding the matter; the last chat representative told me to purchase the lens through canonpricewatch.com. Is she actually right?
Just to confirm, you’re trying to purchase it from Adorama **via eBay**, correct? Once you add it to your cart, login; on the checkout page there is a promotion code box.
Want this
I did purchase it VIA EBAY. I didn’t see the secret box at any point. Now Adorama’s reps are insisting that I have to purchase it through you to get the discount.

And NOW they are insisting that they never had a deal on the 50/1.8 STM in the first place.
Shipping kills the deal
I have submitted the screenshot link to them and am awaiting their response.
I got the deal at Adorama via Ebay this morning. $110. Due in my hands on Jun 16th. Already received the shipping confirmation. No tax. No Shipping. Entered C15FATHERSDAY at checkout.
So that’s two confirmations that the code does work.
I have been trading emails with Adorama this afternoon. The email support seems a little less overmatched than the chat support. We’ll see whether they can step up to the plate by the time Day Two rolls around.
Free shipping via Parcel Post, does not seem to be an option for the 24 mm EF-S any longer. Net cost is now $142 with the coupon code and $7.80 shipping.
I don’t know why the free shipping disappeared during the day…
BuyDig/BeachCamera has similar bundles with free shipping still.
Thank you. Worked perfectly!
Day Two Update: Adorama has indicated that they will contact eBay and see about having the discount applied. I telephoned eBay myself, and they told me they were helpless to issue a $15 credit to my account and that I should, of all things, contact the seller. As the sane readers of this blog might imagine, I am not going to leave it at that.
Canon 10-18 now available for $249. Its no longer priced at $234
Update: Eventually, I decided I didn’t want the lens even for $110. I refused delivery and got a refund. If it’s easier to get the entire amount refunded than the $15, …
