Two excellent deals for the EOS 6D with 24-105mm f/4L IS:
BigValueInc via eBay has the EOS 6D + EF 24-105mm f/4L IS for $1699.00. This is an import / grey market model (with WiFi and GPS), a Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed. Historically, Canon USA has provided warranty service on grey market anyway. This is the lowest price seen yet on an import 6D kit. During the 5D Mark III sale there were several reader complaints about this seller regarding their long order processing time. They seem to have over-sold their deal (they weren’t transparent about that), but things have been rectified: readers now report their new cameras have been shipped. UPDATE: Well, mostly. Some readers are still complaining that they’re still not shipped. Talk about oversold!

Big Value certainly oversold on the 6D. I placed an order on the 26, was told the item shipped on the 2, but the tracking information hasnt changed. They may have made a label but it certainly hasnt shipped. I have tried calling and emailing just to check status with no response. The deal is good enough I’m fine waiting but communication and shipping time has been poor.

Unfortunately with these ebay grey market sellers, you get the quality of service you pay for. This site offers some great street price deals from reputable authorized Canon dealers, and I would far prefer to deal with them, even if it costs me a few bucks more. And I should note with this site’s negotiated street prices, the price difference between grey market and authorized Canon dealer is not that great.
I concur. I ordered a 70D last Friday, which was supposed to arrive today. Not only did it not arrive today, but it hasn’t even been shipped yet. Kinda sucks since I was looking forward to testing out the camera over the weekend.
My 5D3 hasn’t been shipped despite their email suggested the arrival date of March 5th. I haven’t received any response from them. Now I want my refund through ebay.
