The new price of the 70d should be much lower. I just purchased a Sony a3000 with 20.1 megapixels for $277. That camera, plus a fotodiox adaptor will allow me to use my approximately 20 Canon FD lenses in manual mode. I will probably pick up a 70d at some point but only when it is much cheaper.

If looking for a refurb 70d, should I be worried that there are soo many available at the Canon Store? 500+ with the 18-55 kit, then add in the body only and 18-135 kits. Are they just less in demand or do they have a high return/failure rate?
