Live Again at Adorama: 6D + PRO-10 for $1249 AR, +24-105 $1849 AR

UPDATE: Deal has been sweetened: you get a free Lexar 64GB 600x SDHC card ($52), a free LP-E6 ($57), and a Lowepro bag. Quite incredible!

Back for a third time, if you missed the previous two:

Adorama has the EOS 6D, PIXMA PRO-10, and LP-E6 Battery for $1249.00, after ADD TO CART and a $650 mail-in rebate.

Click here and then ADD TO CART to see the deal at Adorama; also check out a bundle that includes the 24-105mm f/4L IS USM for $1849.00, after a $650 mail-in rebate.

Note this is the pigment-based PIXMA PRO-10, not the usual dye-based PIXMA PRO-100 printer normally included in these deals. The PIXMA PRO-10 regularly goes for $699.00.

These are the lowest prices we’ve ever seen on the EOS 6D from an authorized dealer. Yes, you can stack the $300 + $350 rebates. Read our Canon rebates FAQ for more details.

I’m viewing this 3 mins after the email heads-up landed in my inbox but the kit deal with the lens is posted on Adorama’s site as $3,198 (not $1,849)

I did that, but it still only brings it to $2,499 ($650 rebate)

        1. CanonPriceWatch
          December 2, 2014 at 4:03 pm EDT

          For the kit, $2499 – $650 = $1849 AR

They are only charging you $2499, then you get a $650 mail-in rebate from Canon.

  2. December 2, 2014 at 4:53 pm EDT

The answer in advance to your question is: ADD TO CART to see the price. 🙂

It is all very confusing because in the cart, for the lens combo, the price is listed as $2,499.00, and it states: “Price Reflects a $650 Mail-in Rebate (exp. 1/3/15)”.

    1. CanonPriceWatch
      December 2, 2014 at 4:05 pm EDT

Yes, that message is confusing, and that’s what it’s said when the deal was live the first time on Monday.

All we can say is it works.

For the 6D + 24-105mm, you pay $2499, then you get a $650 mail-in rebate from Canon to net $1849.

One reader (in another thread) called and they confirmed this, it is fine. The paranoia surrounding this rebate is incredible. 🙂

  4. December 2, 2014 at 5:24 pm EDT

The price without the lens is $2,598.00. Add to Cart. Price changes to
$1,899.00. On the page it states ” Price Reflects a $650 Mail-in Rebate (exp. 1/3/15)” So I don’t see how to get it down to $1249.

    1. December 2, 2014 at 5:27 pm EDT

At the end of the day, if you checkout, they charge you $1899, then you get the $650 Canon mail-in rebate directly from Canon to go down to $1249.

I don’t know why Adorama hasn’t changed this misleading message, but it’s said that ever since Monday. At the end of the day the retailer is charging you the pre-rebate price of $1899.

I actually placed the order and realized that $650 is not on the rebate form. I called Adorama and they also said that they don’t really know and that we have to call Canon directly to find out. Rebates in general are pretty shaky and I’ve been burned before where I never got my rebate from other companies. I don’t think I’ll risk this to try to save $650 that I’m not sure if I’m actually supposed to get in the first place.

Canon rebates have not been shakey. They use one of the better rebate processors, everything is tracked online, and 3-4 weeks is all it takes.

The $650 rebate is a combo of the $300 6D rebate and the $350 printer combo rebate.

This printer bundle rebate has been active for several rebate sessions now, as well as the 6D/5D Mark III rebates, and our readers have successfully combined them several times. Many readers have called B&H, Adorama, and Canon and confirmed the rebates are valid.

I don’t know what more to say about this.

    2. December 2, 2014 at 6:10 pm EDT

OK But When you click on the Download Rebate form and look at it. There is no listing for $650 rebate. The highest is $350 for the printer combo.

But can you combine the 6d rebate (300) and the Pro 10/6d(350)? Isn’t it supposed to be the 300 for 6d and 200 for the Pro 10 equals 500?…

    6. December 3, 2014 at 9:26 am EDT

    5. December 4, 2014 at 1:33 pm EDT

This happened to me too. I ordered from bh and have same status. I spoke to customer service and they said order would be filled.

  9. December 2, 2014 at 11:59 pm EDT

Any indication whether this could become available again? I bought a refurb last week and I don’t want to return it unless I know I can get this better deal….every time the deal comes up I can’t get thru to canon when I call after being on hold hold for a long time.

My first and last DSLR t1i back in 2009 was bought from Abe’s of Maine. I did not have any issues. They did call to confirm order but did not try to upsell me. That was my experience so yours might be different.

  22. Maddy
    December 3, 2014 at 4:38 pm EDT

Placed order with B&H on 11/28 for the 6D body only and changed to lens kit on 11/30. Received my 6D with Lens yesterday. But it came with faky charger kit it wont charge. And no charge in the battery either to test the camera. Was super excited to see the item delivered but huge disappointment when I couldn’t test it.

I ordered Adorama body bundle I checked with adorama, and canon rebate center twice and sales person at canonusa,
And was all told could use rebate 6D $300 1st page and combine {printer-6D- Paper $350} on 3rd page for total $650 everything has to be purchased at once then mailed with barcodes from both.

  24. December 3, 2014 at 9:10 pm EDT

Hey folks has anyone actually bought anything from CPW? Im just wondering how their experience was? They seem reputable and work with reputable companies but would like the opinion of actual customers as I would like to become one eventually.

How can you combine two rebates, $300 and $350? Canon limited one claims per household.

  27. Steve
    December 3, 2014 at 11:50 pm EDT

When I click on the special promotion bundle, the listing price changes from 1899 to 2597. I was tole by Adorama that the listing price for the bundle is 2597 with 650 rebate, not 1899 with 650 rebate. It is confusing.

Is anyone else having a problem where clicking on “Add to Cart” on the product page brings you to the cart but your cart is empty, and therefore unable to check out? I’m having this problem on Chrome, Explorer and iOS Safari, so I am inclined to believe the problem is with Adorama’s site.

    1. CanonPriceWatch
      December 4, 2014 at 12:29 am EDT

It seems to work for me. I click ‘Add to Cart’ and I get a login page (“Login Required. Due to Manufacturer restrictions we can only show the current sell price after you log in.”), then once I login, it’s in my cart.

      1. Brian
        December 4, 2014 at 1:01 am EDT

Strange. As no one else reported this problem thus far, I was afraid it was unique to me. I’ve had this problem for a while now – since very early in the morning. I too get the login page “Due to manufacturer’s restrictions, etc.), but then after I log in, my cart is empty, so nothing to check out. Subsequent attempts to add to cart do not work.

Again, this problem exists on Chrome, Explorer, and my iPhone. I wonder if Adorama thinks I order too much stuff. Haha! Maybe just as well… I already have a 6D, but the deal is hard to resist as a backup camera or when it’s convenient to have a second 6D and not have to change lenses so often. I’ll try to add a different product to my cart just to see if that works.

  29. Steve
    December 4, 2014 at 1:18 am EDT

I just submitted an order and the price is 1899. I assume I am getting 6d body with pro-10 printer with 1899-650 (1240). Am I right? I actually cannot find the details about the special promotion in Adorama website. It is hard to believe that I would have to pay more (1899-300=1599) if I just order 6d body without a printer. I basically get a printer for paying less. Hope it is true.

Same question as Fan above concerning pre-submission…When I go to pre-submit the rebate on Canon’s site, I can select the $300 6D rebate (as the primary product) but can’t seem to add the printer. I bought this, and it went just fine. I got he camera and the printer quickly, and my card was charged only $1,899. One bummer is that I only got an invoice for the camera, which will delay my ability to apply for the rebates. I Have written to Adorama about this, and I am hopeful the company will fix that soon.

My invoice (B&H) also had all items combined as a kit with one price of $1899. My understanding is that I need a line item itemized receipt.

This was discussed in the mail-in rebate discussion thread:
      http://www.canonpricewatch.com/blog/2014/11/frequently-asked-questions-about-the-canon-mail-in-rebates/

In short, when I asked B&H about this, I was told:

“Apparently someone here spoke to Canon and it should not be an issue. If any of your readers has problems with redeeming the MIR please don’t hesitate to let me know and I’ll work internally to resolve the issue.”

Even if my invoice says Canon EOS 6D Camera Body/Prntr Kit 1899.00…? It sounds like others have an invoice that doesn’t mention the word kit. Thanks for all you do!

I just checked and noticed that my $300 and $350 rebates have been approved. Great!

Did you have a B&H or Adorama invoice?
