Hot: eBay Daily Deal: EOS 6D + 24-105mm (Import) from Get It Digital

Get It Digital via eBay has the Canon EOS 6D with 24-105mm Kit for $1929.99. This is today’s eBay Daily Deal.

Get It Digital via eBay are not an authorized dealer, but a reputable unauthorized dealer.

This is an import version, but it is physically identical to the US model (readers have let me know that the store indicates this includes WiFi and GPS, but if you want to be 100% certain ask the store yourself). A Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed, so the store is providing a three-year store warranty.

This is $100 less than our authorized dealer street price of $2039 that expired on Sunday (the Canon mail-in rebate expired). The current best authorized dealer street price is $2229.

That’s crazy! The lens alone is 1100

Retail box, yes, but generally that lens has gone for about $650 new white box recently. It’s still a fantastic deal though.

Yeah it’s a great deal. I bought the 24×105 a little over a year ago. My favorite lens.

Yes. If via eBay, they are quite reputable.

We’ve had many, many readers purchase from them over the last 6 months and I’ve only heard of two issues; one where someone was shipped the wrong item, and another where the item was defective. Both returns were handled expediently.

This and plus the eBay/PayPal buyer protection and you should be fine.

I should also add… the comments in that blog post are from people ordering direct from the store and ordering “5 lens packages”. I think if you’re ordering something like that you’re inviting them to upsell call you as it demonstrates you don’t know about cameras.

if you’re buying a single listed item on eBay there’s little opportunity for issues; they can’t upsell eBay sales and they have a track record of delivering exactly what you intended to purchase.

thanks for your quick reply and i appreciate what you guys do for us consumers. this is a tempting deal. obviously, i regret missing the rebate by a hair and have only just become aware of what you guys are doing to help us navigate our way around the heavy hand of present map enforcement.

i’m not sure i put much stock in the 3 year warranty from a shop that may have a questionable and short history but, for the record, i should mention that square trade was completely stellar with a new computer that got child destroyed so that seems like a route to consider.

      Thanks for the feedback!

Agreed regarding the warranty: I have heard no reader feedback or stories on the store warranty. SquareTrade is a way of mitigating the risk, although you may give up some of the savings.
