eBay Daily Deal: EOS M + 22mm for $249 at 6ave

Today’s eBay Daily deal is from 6th Ave via eBay. They have the Canon EOS M with 22mm Kit for $249.99, your choice of color (red, black, white, or silver). They previously cleared out the EOS M + 18-55mm for a similar price, selling over 800. They are not an authorized dealer.

UPDATE: There are a lot of useful comments from readers who purchased this camera in the previous sale. At a $249 price point this is a great little camera.

The other eBay Daily deal is the 5D Mark III + 24-105mm for $3299 from unauthorized dealer GetItDigital, but that’s not a great deal as we have a authorized dealer street price for the same price (after a $200 mail-in rebate).

I got one of the 800 cameras sold last time. I love the form factor to carry around and its a great deal at that price. The AF exited my expectations

Do these kits include a battery and charger? Does anyone know that’s purchased this deal? The “In the box” tab makes no mention of battery or charger.

Readers who purchased the EOS M + 18-55mm deal from the same dealer a few weeks ago reported receiving everything brand new including accessories.

I bought the EOS M + 18-55 deal referred to above and everything looked new and it all works perfectly. Also, the battery and charger were included in my set. I also received some type of connecting cable I’ll probably never use as well as a CD/DVD Manuals Disk which I will use.

I got one of the 800 as well and was very pleased. Great crop sensor and I agreethat the AF wasn’t as bad as I expected. Great deal.

I also got one from last time. Installed Magic Lantern on it to see what that was all about (after installing press Delete or touch the screen with two fingers to activate it, and then press left or right to get past the Welcome / It’s Installed menu). I picked up the 22mm lens soon after and am loving it more than the zoom lens. I put in my Eye-Fi card that I haven’t used since picking up a 70D which has WiFi built in and this little camera was good to go.

This camera is a little beast! I purchased this camera with the previous deal. Who knew you could get such good quality from a camera that was supposedly DOA! The autofocus isn’t bad and I love the autofocus assist beam that’s built in the camera. I’m really excited to start using this camera for strobist work!

Got mine yesterday. Great price on a nice walking around camera.

Received mine on Friday, EF-S kit without adapter (bought separately anyway). Nice (solid) walk around camera, it worth the price.
AF is better than described everywhere.
    thanks CPW.
