New Canon Lens Mail-in Rebate: March 2nd – March 29th

Canon has started a new mail-in rebate: receive a rebate of up to $200 off twenty different L-lenses, on purchases at authorized dealers between March 2nd to March 29th.

We list the lenses, the rebate amount, and after-rebate prices below. Some of the lenses (in bold) are great deals as the price is close to the very low prices that we saw during the holiday season!

Please check back as we’ll be watching carefully to see if any stores give further discounts on top of these prices.

Here’s a link to the mail-in rebate form. Just like previous rebates, the rebate is given in the form of an AMEX gift card, which can be refunded to a check on demand. Recent Canon mail-in rebates have been highly reliable.

If you purchase something through a link on our site, we may get a small share of the sale (at no cost to you). Please read our disclosure for more info.

Waiting for double dip to get 135L or UWA. I got my 100L and 70-200L mk2 when there were double dip deals last year. Also had the Amex cards values credited to my checking acct.

      What is a double dip?

Deals where the store gives a discount by the amount of the rebate, which effectively “doubles” it. We saw these in December of 2013:

To little to late Canon. Your still to high prices, especially on dslr bodies caused me to go with a duo Nikon/Sony setup. Couldn’t be happier either on leaving your archaic designs behind.

I just spot-checked a few items. I still see the lower prices, once you add to cart at B&H.

    * Offer valid March 2, 2014, 12:01 a.m. ET through March 29, 2014, 11:59 p.m. ET, or while supplies last, whichever is earlier. Offer cannot be applied to eligible products already discounted. Offer valid in U.S.A. only

Those terms are NOT on the official rebate form. They only appear on the Canon USA Store, which is selling items at full price.

B&H, Adorama, and all other dealers are selling at in-cart prices, and you can stack a rebate. The terms have not changed and are identical to the same as the Holiday 2013 rebates.

Anyone know what will happen to misplaced AMEX rebate cards?

    1. CanonPriceWatch
      March 2, 2014 at 12:25 pm EDT

As in, you lost your card? If you have the card number I think you can still call and have your balance “refunded” to your bank account or to a check.

For some reason claim Pre submit link not taking the promotion ID: 819101712. Any one else having the same issue?

It might take a few days for the Canon promotions site to update with the latest rebate — last time it took 4 days.
