Here come the double dips! B&H Photo Video has the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM for $1799.00, after a $200 mail-in rebate.
Double-dips are sales where the retailer discounts by the amount of the currently active mail-in rebate! In this case, they’re offering a $200 in-cart discount to $1999, then you get a $200 mail-in rebate for net $1799. You also get $40 (2%) in B&H rewards.
Check out the deal at B&H Photo Video.

would you consider the 70-300L at $1229 “double dipped”, or can we expect lower before the month is up?
I think that one’s already a good deal as it’s even cheaper than the price it was at during December ($1249).
need to jump on the deal before the month is up. thanks for being my go-to canon price resource!
Hopefully it goes triple dip. Same as the 24-70 f4. I would like to have it for $1599 AR.
what makes this one better than the version I?
It’s sharper, better contrast, and is also lighter.
Any info on the next reburbish sale?
This lens isn’t in-stock at the refurb store, but I am beginning to hear things about the next refurb store sale, stay tuned…
Fantstic lens. Pretty much my everday shooter
Tamron’s got a better lens for less than what’s being offered. I rented it and compared to the new Canons Mk II. Tamron was sharper….if you could tell.
eh I’ll stick to my mk i version, I’ve shot the same image using both and the mkii is slightly better. not worth paying more when I can fix in post
It was $1,699 the lowest I’ve seen
I think $1,699 should be the norm on that new 24-70 II for not having an IS
I purchased the 70-200 2.8 is ii yesterday from Amazon. It was on sale for 2, 359. Plus the 200 rebate. 2, 159 for the 70-200 not to bad.
Awesome deal… This is the same deal I got back during the holiday.
Enjoying this lens every day. Thought I would missed the IS from the 24-105mm when I sold it, but the picture quality is totally exceptional. Maybe it will only be beaten when the 24-70 2.8 II IS version comes out, if it does come out.
It’s still a very expensive lens, but the enjoyment you get in return is in so many folds much more.
What about the TAMRON 24-70 2.8? Any thoughts?
Come on triple dip! Before I spend my money on something else.
Also at Amazon for $1999 before rebate
