Canon Refurbished Sale was Restocked Today

The Canon Direct Store sale on refurbished lenses, speedlites, and EOS bodies was restocked about an hour ago. Each of the popular lenses had a handful come back in stock, including one copy of the elusive 300mm f/2.8L IS II. Unfortunately everything sold out within minutes.

We sent out thousands of e-mail notifications; we think it’s the best way to catch one of these deals. You can browse our refurb stock tracker to see what’s in-stock and get notified on out-of stock items (click the ‘Notify’ button on our tracker page).

If you managed to land one of these deals, leave a comment! We always like to hear success stories.

If you purchase something through a link on our site, we may get a small share of the sale (at no cost to you). Please read our disclosure for more info.

Thanks for the updates, but the restocks go so quickly that you pretty much need to be refreshing the Canon refurb site constantly to get anything in high demand. I’d been trying to score a refurb 85L and eventually just gave up and got something used.

Did you try signing up for a notification on the 85L? We saw 1 in stock at 10:52 AM ET and sent out a bunch of notification e-mails on it. It didn’t sell until 11:03 AM.

I tried signing up for the Canon notifications, which I haven’t received a single one of yet, but I didn’t set a notification specifically for the 85L through canonpricewatch, so I’ll try that in the future. Thanks

There must be only 5 lens of each type of the restock. I could never find any lens left with 15% off sales. I had to settle for the $50.00 off sale in order to get the lens I wanted

Yes, today in most cases only one copy was restocked.

You guys are the best. I was able snag a refurb 50mm 1.2 based on your notification even though I had also asked Canon to notify me (they never did). I wish I had known about this site years ago when I was buying my lenses at full retail on Amazon. Thanks for your hard work and I hope you get the referral commission

Got one of the TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II lenses and picked up a EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM on the first day of the sale. Thank you a ton for the service you provide. Much appreciated.

Finally received also the refurbished 17-40 f/4. It made it through the snow from the east coast to the west coast. Looks basically like a new one and completes more or less my lens range from 17 – 400. I should better leave this page for a while 🙂

Was there any additional discounts? I have not seen refurbished prices this low.
