Since Adorama will give you a price adjustment if it drops any time within the next 30 days, I’d suggest buying it now and locking in this price. Adorama will normally price match B&H so if either of those two stores go down to $1699 you’ll save $100.
Actually just saw that Amazon is now offering the lens at the same price. Decided to jump on it since my card offers cash back with Amazon.
Few days ago i called Adorama sales rep and they gave me this lens @1999. You will get rebate $300 as MIR and the price will become $1699. They will give 2% reward after 30 days of the product. Try your luck.

Ken: I got both the 24-70 mk2 and 70-200 mk2 from the recent double dip deals. Been waiting for a while to upgrade my lenses. Just get which one you need the most.
