EOS 7D Clearout: $749 at B&H ($849 with 28-135 IS)

B&H Photo Video is clearing out the Canon EOS 7D: body only is $749.00, and the Canon EOS 7D with EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Kit is $849.00. These are the lowest prices we’ve ever seen on the EOS 7D brand new from an authorized dealer.

The street price on the EOS 7D Mark II is exactly double that of its predecessor: $1499 from an authorized Canon dealer with 1-year Canon USA warranty.

This sale lasts until September 14th, which perfectly lines up with the start of Photokina 2014.

Refurb Store: 40% off EOS 7D ($719) & EOS 7D + 18-135 ($863)

The Canon Direct Store started a sale on the refurbished EOS 7D. They’re offering 40% off the 7D and its kits.

This is the lowest price we’ve ever seen on a refurbished 7D. A sure sign a replacement is on its way!

EOS 7D for $999, with 28-135mm $1099, is a 7D Mark II Coming?

This weekend we saw a massive price drop for the Canon EOS 7D to $999.00 body only, which finally brings the new price more in-line with what the used market has been pricing this camera at.

The most overlooked deal is the Canon EOS 7D with 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Kit for only $1099.00. The lens regularly sells used for about $200 so this puts you sub-$900 for a brand new 7D, especially as B&H is throwing in 2% rewards.

This begs the question: is a 7D Mark II finally coming? Five years ago, when the 7D was first released, it made sense; but with the advent of $1500 full-frame cameras and a fantastic $1000 70D there’s no room in the current line-up for a high-end APS-C to differentiate — unless, of course, Canon really steps up with game-changing auto-focus and frame-rate. Eagerly awaiting their next step.

30% off EOS 7D Refurbished: $839, or $951 with 28-135mm IS

The Canon Store started a sale: up to 30% off refurbished SLR bodies. The best deal is 30% off the EOS 7D refurbished, for $839.44, or with 28-135mm IS lens for only $951.44.

They also have 10-15% off the 60D ($518) and most of the Rebel series (T3i for $339). Check out our refurbished stock tracker for the details and all the deals.
