The Canon Direct Store started a sale: 15% off the Refurbished 70D. It’s a short three-day sale that ends on Tuesday, June 17th.
This is the first time the EOS 70D refurbished has been discounted. The discount is available for the 70D in body-only and all kit forms:
Ground shipping is only $5.00. Unfortunately the Canon Direct Store does charge tax to most states.
In addition to the new mail-in rebate on 5D Mark III and 34 lenses, Canon also launched instant rebates on 15 lenses and most bodies.
The only instant worth writing about is a $200 rebate on the EOS 70D body, which takes the price down to $999.00.
B&H Photo Video is also giving 2% rewards ($20) and a bunch of free stuff: a shoulder bag, a third-party battery, and a Sandisk 16GB Extreme SD card. With the rewards and free stuff, this deal comes close to the lowest-ever body-only 70D deal we saw in December 2013 ($949).
You can also optionally bundle with a PIXMA PRO-100 printer — it is free after a $400 mail-in rebate, your net price would be $997.
Adorama has a bundle of the Speedlite 320EX and EOS 70D for $1099.00. This is a fairly good price for the EOS 70D as the Speedlite 320EX is worth about $150, leaving a net price of $950 for the EOS 70D.

B&H dropped the price on EOS 70D in all configurations today:
they have the Canon EOS 70D for $1099.00, the Canon EOS 70D with 18-55 IS STM Kit for $1199.00, and the Canon EOS 70D with 18-135 IS STM Kit for $1299.00.

This is a hot deal as the lowest price we’ve seen for the 70D body-only from an authorized dealer was $949 (Amazon), this is $20 cheaper and with free printer (after rebate). This is today’s eBay Daily Deal.
Here’s a link to the rebate form. Our readers have been successful in the past in getting a receipt from BeachCamera (or BuyDig) that doesn’t mention eBay, to comply with the rebate rules. The auction listing itself mentions that it is eligible for a $400 rebate so we don’t expect you’ll have problems. This is a new printer rebate promotion that started on January 1st, and you are eligible for it even if you did a printer purchase in Q4 of 2013.
Amazon continues with their aggressive pricing — they have the Canon EOS 70D body-only for $949.00. This is lowest price that we’ve ever seen the 70D body-only sell for.
B&H Photo Video quickly matched the price of $949.00.
The EOS 70D was first available in late August at $1199, and has quickly dropped $250 (in body-only) to end up at $949. Another good option for a simple 70D kit is a EOS 70D + 50mm f/1.8 Kit for $1049 at B&H.
