Amazon briefly had the Canon EOS 5D Mark III for $2677.48. This is the new lowest authorized dealer price for this camera body only. Unfortunately it only lasted about 20 minutes before returning to $2999 — watch carefully though, it might be back later today or tomorrow.
B&H Photo Video has the Canon EOS 6D for $1573.00, and now with 4% reward!
Amazon has it for $1573.95. These match the lowest price that we’ve ever seen from an authorized dealer for this camera body-only.
B&H Photo Video just started a fantastic deal on the EOS 6D with 24-105 Kit and a PIXMA PRO-100 for $1999.00, after a $400 mail-in rebate. Price seen at checkout. I’m told the 6D Kit deal is very limited quantity. Other authorized dealers are selling the camera kit alone for $2399 — this is a incredible price.
UPDATE: This deal got a lot hotter — they added a 4% reward. This takes the price down to (net) $1903. Incredible!

The camera kit regularly goes for $1549; you get $300 off and a free printer. You also get free paper, bag, memory card, and battery. I’m told this deal is also very limited quantity.
Note this is the higher-end PIXMA PRO-10 (regular price: $699), not the Pixma PRO-100 that usually accompanies these deals.

The Canon Direct Store is running a new promotion: $50 off a purchase of $500 (or, $25 off a purchase of $250), valid on anything, refurbished or new.
Best of all it can be stacked with the currently running instant or mail-in rebates. Lenses that are already on rebate are a good deal, for example:
Unfortunately the Canon Direct Store does charge sales tax to almost all states.
Good news: Canon is following through on their rebate promises, and in record time. Quite a few readers have reported they have already received their rebates. These mail-in rebate claims were submitted in early October, after the first big Best Buy sale. Three weeks is a great turn-around-time when Canon’s site says to allow 60 days for the claim. This is the latest in a series of double-dips. As with all double-dips this price will last only hours. The price war and competition between the camera stores this week has been furious, but great for us customers!
