6th Ave via eBay has the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM for $639.99. They are not an authorized dealer, but this is very close to the lowest price we’ve seen for this lens, which was $630 during Winter 2013. This is a split-kit lens (taken from a 5D Mark III or 6D kit).
If you prefer authorized dealers, BuyDig still has the lens for $689. It is also a split kit, but BuyDig is an authorized dealer.
If you bought a lens during the crazy double-dip holiday madness, the deadline for mailing your mail-in rebate submission is coming up. Submissions must be postmarked by February 4th, 2014.
If you bought a 2013 printer deal the printer mail-in rebate must be postmarked by January 31st (that’s this Friday).
The number one reason why people don’t get their rebate is: they forget to submit it! Please don’t let it happen to you.
If you’ve already submitted but haven’t heard back yet now might also be a good time to check your rebate status. Most rebates were paid out in three weeks or less, and many people are successful in refunding the AMEX card balance to a bank account or check.
