A reminder: if you bought a camera or lens during the mail-in rebate period ended July 5th, your deadline for submitting the rebate is coming up — August 2nd.
If you bought a printer during the mail-in rebate period ended June 30th, the deadline is even sooner, July 30th.
The number one reason why people don’t get their rebate is: they forget to submit it! Please don’t let it happen to you.
If you’ve already submitted but haven’t heard back yet, now might also be a good time to check your rebate status. Most rebates are paid out in three weeks or less. It was also possible to refund the AMEX card to a check or ACH to a bank account. (Can anyone who has done this recently please confirm?)
