Adobe is offering a great discount on the Creative Cloud Photography Plan. It’s now available at a price of $7.99 per month, a 20% discount from the regular $9.99 subscription price, on new sign-ups before the end of the month.

The Creative Cloud Photography Plan is an excellent way for photographers to get started with Lightroom and Photoshop. With it, you get access to the latest version of Photoshop, and the latest version of Lightroom for your desktop, mobile devices, and the web.

The newest version of Lightroom is fantastic — it’s much faster than Lightroom 5 (using the GPU to help offload some computation), and offers new HDR and Panorama merge features. This is a great price if you’re not interested in shelling out for the new EF 100-400mm II ($2199).

This is also notable as the price of $1299.00 is below Canon’s Minimum Advertised Price of $1499 for this lens. We’re not sure if this is a special exemption or an indication that Canon’s MAP policy is being relaxed.
