Live Again: 100-400mm II for $1699 (Grey Market) at GetItDigital eBay

This deal is back in-stock: Get It Digital has the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II (grey market) for $1699.00.

As usual, you may receive an upsell call — please be sure to decline any upgrades. This is grey market, and a Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed (but historically honored). If grey market is not for you, please consider a street price of $1799.00 (brand new from an authorized dealer, limited quantities remain).

Hot, Lowest Yet: Tamron SP 150-600mm VC for $679 BuyDig via eBay

Authorized Tamron USA dealer BuyDig via eBay has the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD for Canon for only $679.00. This is the lowest price we’ve seen yet for this lens, from an authorized Tamron USA dealer.

Canon, Nikon, and Sony mounts are available. One caveat is the listing states the items are “Dented Box” condition. In previous “open box” or “dented box” sales, readers have reported receiving brand new, unopened items with perfect boxes. We expect this may just be a method to get around Tamron’s MAP restrictions.

Free shipping. The shipping estimate suggests it will ship this week (even with the Passover closing.)

PIXMA PRO Bundle Deal MAP Restrictions Coming on May 1st

We now have more information on the changes to printer bundle deals coming on May 1st. The mail-in rebate will continue to be renewed; however, a new MAP (minimum advertised price) restriction will be put in place. The advertised after-rebate final price of the bundle will be restricted: it can’t be less than the MAP price of the camera. As with all MAP restrictions, the net effect is that competition is reduced and effective prices go up.

We advise that you take advantage of these bundle deals before the new MAP restrictions go in place on May 1st. Readers report that even though many stores are closed for Passover, the date on the invoice is the day of ordering, ensuring you are eligible for the mail-in rebate.

Street Price Specials: 100-400 II $1799, 11-24L $2599, 5Ds R $2999

We’re pleased to see the return of three very popular street price deals. All three are brand new from Canon authorized dealers with a 1-year Canon USA warranty, but are not eligible for the current lens-combo mail-in rebate promotion.

Please inquire for more details. While quantities last.

Price Mistake Again? Sigma Art 18-35mm and 50-100mm $799 BuyDig

Another price mistake? BuyDig has a bundle of the Art 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM for Canon and Art 50-100mm f/1.8 DC HSM for Canon for $799.00. Considering the 18-35mm goes for $799 and the 50-100mm goes for $1099, this is a stellar deal. Click here to check out the deal at BuyDig.

This is probably another price mistake, orders for the previous price mistake this week were cancelled. But it’s always worth a shot. Please note these are DC lenses designed for crop sensors.

Significant Changes to Printer Bundle Deals Coming on May 1st

We’ve now heard from multiple sources that highly discounted bundle deals will no longer be offered after the current rebate period ends on April 30th. This will put an end to the bargains where the camera + printer (after $350 mail-in rebate) is priced much lower than the camera alone.

This is the LAST rebate period to take advantage of stellar printer bundle deals. Please note that many stores close for Passover beginning this evening, and remain closed until May 1st!

Take advantage of the following opportunities before they’re gone forever. We’re sad to see this go, as it’s one of the best reoccurring Canon deals.
