Free 13-Month Canon CarePAK PLUS Extended Warranty is Back!

Canon has brought back their very popular CarePAK PLUS promotion. From October 29th 2017 through January 6th, 2018, when you purchase selected Canon bodies or lenses, brand new from a Canon USA authorized dealer, you receive a free “CarePAK PLUS“, an extended 13-month warranty covering accidental damage from drops or spills.

As our street prices come from Canon USA authorized dealers (except where explicitly indicated), they are eligible for this extended warranty. The free CarePAK also stacks with the mail-in rebate when you purchase two or more lenses at once.

You can optionally extend your CarePAK Plus coverage to 49 months by purchasing an additional 3-year CarePAK plus warranty. Please fill out the street price contact form for more details.

Readers are reporting that orders are beginning to ship out, including orders of the EOS 5D Mark IV. One controversial thing is the Canon Direct Store did change their coupon code to exclude the EOS 5D Mark IV about 14 hours after the sale began. To their credit, they are honoring the deal for anyone who did get their order in before the change. Lesson to all: you need to be fast when it comes to refurbished deals, and order before it goes out-of-stock and before Canon changes the rules on you. Don’t believe me?
