Amazon‘s Black Friday Deals Week has been a bit of a bust for photographers thus far. Finally something interesting has shown up in their quick lightning deals. They’ve got two Pelican cases for 37% and 27% off respectively, the lowest prices seen yet for these cases.

Front and center on B&H‘s Black Friday flyer is (no surprise) the EOS 5D Mark IV for $2849 AR and the 6D Mark II for $1349 AR. I think everyone here has seen that deal and we won’t describe it again here — but it’s clear and by far the best Black Friday deal for Canon available now.
They also have a number of good savings across the board. With the exception of some of the Apple discounts, none are really jaw-dropping; they’re good savings though and are discounts from the regular price.

A number of excellent (lowest yet) savings are available on assorted Mac products. Their Black Friday DealZone deal is the 15.4″ MacBook Pro with Touch Bar for $1599 which is the lowest price seen yet for this laptop. They also have good savings on iPad, iPad Pro, and iMacs.
B&H is matching some of Amazon’s Deal of the Day on Seagate hard drives — specifically, on the portable, desktop expansion, and backup hub hard drives, but unfortunately not on the bare drives. You’ll have to go to Amazon for that.
They’ve got decent discounts on SanDisk (CF, SD, microSD) and Samsung (microSD). We rarely see discounts these days on SanDisk memory cards, so the current deals are probably what we’re going to get this year. With the changes at Lexar, SanDisk likely doesn’t see a need to compete on price at the high-end. Hopefully, Samsung changes that dynamic going forward.
They have up to $60 savings on popular Pelican Cases, including the 1610 ($170), 1650 ($200), and my favorite, the carry-on 1510 with wheels and handle ($130). Good discounts, but not earth-shattering or lowest yet.
A 20% discount on BlackRapid across the board. This is the usual discount that we’ll see during these big sales events.
Amazon’s Deal of the Day is an up-to 25% discount on Seagate Hard Drives. They’ve got some great deals on portable hard drives, desktop expansion hard drives and enclosures, or even drives suitable for use in NAS. Some of the best deals below.

B&H Photo Video has a couple Black Friday deals on Samsung microSD cards. They come with SD adapters so you can use them as you normally would SD cards.

Many readers are asking: what if I don’t want the vertical battery grip? There is a decent used market for the Canon BG-E20 battery grip (for now). The used market (via eBay) is trending to $225-$250 for a BG-E20 in New or Like-New condition. Used dealer KEH Camera is offering about $137 (net, as it includes pre-paid shipping) for a BG-E20 battery grip in Like New condition, a very pain-free option. The market will get saturated quite quick, so we recommend locking your price in with a 2-minute quote at KEH Camera if you’re looking to sell. The BG-E21 for 6D Mark II is too new and a stable used market hasn’t developed yet for that grip. We’ll continue to look for opportunities. Don’t want the printer? PIXMA PRO-100 print heads are reselling at around $85 and ink sets are stable at $95. Net of shipping and selling fees you should make $120-130 from printer components.
