Amazon‘s Black Friday Deals Week has been a bit of a bust for photographers thus far. Finally something interesting has shown up in their quick lightning deals. They’ve got two Pelican cases for 37% and 27% off respectively, the lowest prices seen yet for these cases.

B&H Black Friday Deals Summary: Apple, SanDisk, Pelican and Others

Front and center on B&H‘s Black Friday flyer is (no surprise) the EOS 5D Mark IV for $2849 AR and the 6D Mark II for $1349 AR. I think everyone here has seen that deal and we won’t describe it again here — but it’s clear and by far the best Black Friday deal for Canon available now.

They also have a number of good savings across the board. With the exception of some of the Apple discounts, none are really jaw-dropping; they’re good savings though and are discounts from the regular price.

B&H: Samsung UHS-I U3 microSD + Adapter, 64GB $20, 128GB $37

B&H Photo Video has a couple Black Friday deals on Samsung microSD cards. They come with SD adapters so you can use them as you normally would SD cards.

These cards are a decent speed — they are rated U3 for a minimum 30 MB/s write. In fact, they are the most affordable U3 rated cards available — priced 20-25% less than the SanDisk “Extreme” comparables. The micro form-factor allows you to use these cards in other devices as well.

Live Again, at Adorama and B&H: 5D Mark IV $2849 AR, 6D Mark II $1349 AR with Bonuses, How to Sell Your Canon Battery Grip

These super-hot deals from Adorama and B&H Photo Video are both live again. They have hot bundles of the 6D Mark II for $1349 AR and of the 5D Mark IV for $2849 AR, after the $350 Canon USA mail-in rebate. Both stores are offering the same bundle — they’re giving a SanDisk 64GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Memory Card and a genuine Canon LP-E6N Battery Pack on top of the free Canon battery grip (BG-E21 Battery Grip for EOS 6D Mark II or BG-E20 Battery Grip for EOS 5D Mark IV), PIXMA PRO-100, and photo paper. A free 13-month Canon CarePAK PLUS extended warranty is also included.

An incredibly hot deal that has been going in-and-out of stock, don’t miss out.

Many readers are asking: what if I don’t want the vertical battery grip? There is a decent used market for the Canon BG-E20 battery grip (for now). The used market (via eBay) is trending to $225-$250 for a BG-E20 in New or Like-New condition. Used dealer KEH Camera is offering about $137 (net, as it includes pre-paid shipping) for a BG-E20 battery grip in Like New condition, a very pain-free option. The market will get saturated quite quick, so we recommend locking your price in with a 2-minute quote at KEH Camera if you’re looking to sell. The BG-E21 for 6D Mark II is too new and a stable used market hasn’t developed yet for that grip. We’ll continue to look for opportunities. Don’t want the printer? PIXMA PRO-100 print heads are reselling at around $85 and ink sets are stable at $95. Net of shipping and selling fees you should make $120-130 from printer components. Or, enjoy the fabulous printer.
