This is an amazing deal as the printer comes with normal, full ink tanks that can be easily sold for over $90. UPDATE: Amazon has now matched and is also showing a $3199 price. This is likely not because the rebate is real, but likely just a straight price-match of a competitor.
B&H Photo Video lowered the pre-order price on the Canon EOS R with RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM Kit to $3199.00 (a $200 savings from the original price of $3399). Their website is showing a $200 instant rebate on this item — except, we think that might be a mistake. A $200 rebate started on the EOS 5Ds R, and we think it was mistakenly applied. Competitors’ sites — such as Adorama or Amazon — are not showing the same discount.
This is a pretty good opportunity to try to save $200 on this pre-release item — if they will honor the price. Note that B&H online checkout closes today (Sunday) at 6:30 for a holiday observance.
