This is likely not “real” stock, but the Canon Direct Store is yet again showing four popular RF lenses as “in-stock”. Check out our refurbished stock tracker for a list of all items that they’re showing as available. Refurbished items from the Canon Direct Store come with a 1-year Canon USA warranty.
Today’s B&H DealZone (one-day deal) features a deal on ProGrade Digital 325GB CFexpress 2.0 Cobalt memory cards. A single card is $324.99 and a two-card pack is $634.99, these are the lowest prices seen yet!
The EOS R5 continues to be a very popular and desired camera, and there have been a few recent developments regarding pricing and availability:
Adorama has been in-stock for about a week, but now they’re showing “Low Stock”, which means they’re likely about to sell out. Adorama is a good option if they don’t collect sales tax to your state, as you can then keep the 5% Adorama Edge credit card discount. If they collect tax to your state, B&H Photo Video with PayBoo card will refund the tax to you — B&H is out of stock but is showing that they will get their next shipment of cameras at the end of February. Both dealers are priced at $3899.00.
We also have just a few cameras left in-stock with our street price of $3849 from an authorized Canon dealer (free shipping, 1-year Canon USA warranty, no tax collected).
We’re starting to see discounts in the grey market for the first time. 6th Ave via eBay has discounted the camera to $3764.95. As this is likely grey market, a Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed, but the availability of grey market deals is a sign of more supply ahead.
If you’re still waiting on the Canon EF-EOS R Control Ring Mount Adapter, Amazon is showing that it’ll be in-stock on February 23rd ($199.99). You can order it now to reserve it. It has been sold out for several weeks and this appears to be the earliest estimate out of all of the major authorized dealers.
Our street prices have dropped on the EOS R EOS RP — they are $1699 and $899 respectively from authorized Canon dealers. The item ships free, has a 1-year Canon USA warranty, and the dealers do not collect state sales tax.
Today’s B&H DealZone (one-day deal) features a deal on the Tokina atx-i 11-20mm f/2.8 CF for Canon EF — it’s discounted $100 to $429.00. Also on sale today is the SanDisk Extreme PRO SDHC 32GB UHS-I 95MB/s, which is only $11.49.
Amazon is featuring a deal of the day on SK hynix Gold S31 3D NAND 2.5 inch SATA III Internal SSDs. You can save up to 20% on these up-to 560 MB/s SSDs, today only (or until sold out).
The 500GB drive is $45.59 and the 1TB drive is $83.19. These items are sold by the manufacturer (SK hynix) via the Amazon marketplace, but shipped by Amazon.
