We still haven’t heard anything about a refurbished lens sale; but it’s possible one could start at the same time. This deal is back: BigValueInc via eBay has the Canon EOS 6D for $1499.99.
BigValueInc (via eBay) is an unauthorized dealer. However, the last few 5D Mark III sales, readers reported that they have been shipping US or Canadian models which are eligible for US warranty service. They also have 98.2% positive feedback on eBay.
You can also try your luck at a refurbished EOS 6D that will be going on sale within a few days.
We’ve been informed that the Canon Direct Store is starting a 20%-off refurbished bodies sale shortly (unfortunately, the sale excludes the 5D Mark III). If they discount by the full 20% the best deal will be the full-frame Canon EOS 6D for only $1279.36. This is a steal considering that refurbished cameras now include a full one-year Canon warranty. We expect the sale to start this coming weekend.

Canon wants you to try out their printers — you can upload an image of your choice at www.trymyphoto.com and they’ll mail you a free 8″x10″ print. You can try either the PIXMA PRO-1, PIXMA PRO-10, or PIXMA PRO-100. You can get one free print per printer/paper type (about 30 combinations).
Amazon has a bundle of one of these printers, the PIXMA PRO-100, and a 50-sheet package of very wide 13×19″ semi-gloss photo paper for $78.53, after a mail-in rebate (link to rebate form).
