The Canon Store still has availability of the refurbished EOS R5 Mark II at a price of $3869.10. This introduction of this camera to the refurbished store is surprisingly quick, as the camera was only announced in July (and shipped in August) of this year; typically there is about a one year wait before cameras are available refurbished.
The camera didn’t participate in the end-of-year sale, but the price of $3869.10, representing a 10% discount from the new retail price, is a very good price for the camera with a 1-year Canon USA warranty. You can also purchase CarePAK PLUS on refurbished items.

I feel like this isn’t a great deal. With taxes, it’s $200 more than the street price for a new camera.
Plus, I called Canon, and they said the R5mkii might soon be eligible for the upgrade program (20% off new with an eligible serial number 6 months after the release date -which is 02/20/25).
That’s odd because I bought my R5 mark ii calling to Canon and asking for a trade up in October. They gave me a 20% discount and I got it new for $3440.
