Sony is really upping their game with their holiday deals — we wish Canon would follow suit! We just posted this super hot deal on our sister site, Sony Price Watch.
Sony is featuring a huge EDU discount with up to 30% off popular Alpha bodies and lenses at B&H. To qualify, you need a valid email address or ID from a college or university institution, and verify through B&H’s portal. The Sony Alpha a7R IV is 30% off and only $2,448.60, a tremendous discount for a camera released two months ago. Other Sony cameras and lenses are discounted as well. Check out Sony Price Watch for the details.
As far as we know, Canon does not have a similar program in the USA, but here’s to hoping they’re watching and learning from their competition this year.
Are you saying I should look into Sony ? Yep, Canon has not done much this Holiday. If I had the money I would try the A7iii.
I briefly thought the same with the crazy deals they have with the A7iii.
I’m still waiting for a Sony body that isn’t made for little girl hands.
I had no idea there was also a sonypricewatch and nikonpricewatch lol
I might buy it and try to sell in craigslist.
I’ve been with canon for 22 years and bought an A7III to see what all the fuss was about. I’m impressed and was disappointed the EOS R didn’t have dual memory card while the A7III did.
Along with IBIS for stills. If they had it in the RP, I would buy.
